The PSLA Trans Healthcare Grant
The PSLA Transgender Healthcare Grant is a fundraising initiative which generates $2500 micro grants for transgender and non-binary individuals. This grant is specifically for transition related healthcare such as surgery, hormones, related travel and after care costs. We fundraise these grants through pre-sales of hand printed, limited edition shirts. All editions are capped at 100 shirts and priced at $25 per shirt. Designs are collaborated with and donated by artists we work with, both printing and shipping are done in house and covered by the shop . 100% of sales from each round shirts go to an individual transgender and or non-binary identifying recipient, creating the $2500 grant.
You can nominate yourself or someone else for a PSLA Trans Healthcare Grant using the form below. The only requirement is that the nominated individual is a transgender or nonbinary person needing financial assistance for transition related healthcare. There is no follow up on how these funds are spent or used by the individual recipient. Nominees are chosen on a rolling basis with POC & intersectional applicants to the front of the que.
