A linocut is a relief printmaking process similar to a woodcut, using linoleum as the surface into which the design is carved and then printed. This public group workshop offers an overview of the linocut printing process including transferring your image, carving the linoleum block, inking and printing onto paper or fabric. In this class you will carve, ink and print your own design! Plus learn trips for how to easily print linocuts at home or in the studio. Great for all experience levels.

Explore the process of linocut in this intensive month-long workshop consisting of four in-depth classes.Great for all experience levels, students will complete process of carving and printing single and multicolor blocks on various surfaces such as paper and fabric. This workshop covers the intricacies of design preparation and the transfer process, carving tool selection, proper inking etiquette, + advanced techniques including reduction multicolor printing and more. All materials included!
